DM Airlines news: 200 planes at PRG… and there will be more
DM Airlines’ continued expansion brings us to cross yet another major milestone, this time at the airline’s home base of PRG. Just yesterday the 200th PRG-based fleet plane was delivered to DM Airlines, with that being a 737-400 registered OK-NOU, which is a part of DM Airlines’ recent purchase of 8 aircraft of this type, 5 of which are freighters and 3 pax planes. The aircraft arrived to PRG in the early morning of August 22nd and so far remains parked on one of the remote stands waiting for its duty.

Now some of you might have seen my published PRG fleet cap of 200 planes, so is this the last plane to be purchased at my PRG? Actually, no. For better or worse, I decided to loosen the fleet cap, adding space for another 40 new planes over the next few months. Where is that growth going to come from? Well, there are actually quite a few different aircraft types still yet to be delivered. Firstly, the five 737-400 freighters which just arrived today and are also available for new connections. That puts the current number of DM Airlines PRG-based aircraft at an all-time high of 205 already. And this is not the end for 737 expansion - 18 new 737s from 4 different types are set to join the PRG fleet at some point, including 737-900s, -700s, -600s and -300s. Another large part will be made up of L410s, likely covering all variants of the family. Approximately 10 of these are planned from the start but that could grow. The last odd couple will probably be 767s and/or 777s but that’s not fully decided yet. The exact date of adding each aircraft type to the fleet isn’t yet known.
