:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
Founded in 1949 in SAN, this was an LCC that operated out of SAN, LAX and SFO. It had its heyday in the 1960s and early 1970s but nearly entered administration in 1974/75 due to massive costs from the old business model not working and the L1011 leasing costs which were run at a loss compared to their 727’s. The airline entered deregulation and struggled to compete in the market, eventually being sold to US Air (US Airways) in 1988 bringing to an end SAN’s home airline.

It had quite a diverse fleet and is remembered fondly by a lot of aviation enthusiasts for its pink livried planes and smile on the nose. It would make for an excellent retro livery either on its own or as a part of a future US Airways (Please devs :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:) and as a potential addition to a future SAN’s pass when it is remodelled.
