:pushpin: Why should this livery be added?
Qantas operated 7 Boeing 767-200s from 1985 to 2004, when Ansett Australia & Trans Australia Airlines (TAA) were struggling from the 1981-82 recession and bad timing of their new widebody jets. TAA saw that Qantas, Australia’s international airline, wanted to buy its own 767s and saw a chance to help.

TAA suggested that both TAA and Ansett be allowed to run regional/international flights for Qantas using their extra widebody planes. Qantas rejected the proposal and went ahead with the ordered Boeing 767s. They wanted to use the 767s as a key part of their new plan. The 767s helped Qantas adjust the number of flights to New Zealand and Pacific islands. They also allowed new flights from smaller Australian cities to Asia.

Qantas would retire the last Boeing 767-200, registered VH-EAQ, in late 2004 and were replace with the Boeing 767-300.
