Founded in 2003, Fars Air Qeshm is an Iranian airline that operated passenger and freighter services primarily on Qeshm Island, with the airline temporarily ceasing all operations in 2013 due to bad management and financial problems. It would restart operations in March 2017 with a new management team based in Tehran, operating a fleet mainly consisting of 2 Boeing 747-200Fs. The airline unfortunately has been banned from operating in the United States and is subject to comprehensive sanctions by the U.S.
