Actually there not. Although they have been renamed this year, there history goes back to 2008 when it was called Anadolujet (most Ajet aircraft still has Anadolujet livery)
In reality Lufthansa City airlines is the youngest

I mean for all intents and purposes (legally and practically) it’s a new airlines since they “commenced” operations earlier this year. Even if they used an existing fleet and employee base.

Not necessarily, if an airline commence operations (renamed) than that still is the same airline, in fact I still call them Anadolujet since Ajet sounds confusing especially since they rebranded just a few months ago, until Ajet becomes an independent airline (separate from Turkish Airlines) than I will still believe that it was Anadolujet from the beginning.
