Seen videos of it, looked like another Shoreham type incident where pilot was too low for the loop.
Let’s hope they can make it though this. Spirit Airlines files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as US discount carrier seeks to restructure network and fleet | Flight Global
I read on FR24 that Frontier is already trying to gobble up their signature destinations ![]()
I literally said ‘Oh, what? again?’ clicked on the article and it beat me to it ![]()
I’m not too optimistic for an airline which has filed twice in 2 years. Might end up deleting a lot of their routes just to stay afloat. Pity as the livery is decent.
Exactly why rejecting their proposal to merge with jetblue was an absolute joke, could have just had 1 decent airline, now you’ve got a relatively ‘unstable’ airline and one that’s filed for bankruptcy twice in less then a year. Utter joke.
Speaking of jetblue, they are planning to retire all their embraers within the next week.
I must cancel some contracts at IAD tommorow…
I keep my airport contracts from what’s flown there within the last year or two. That way, if some equipment was replaced or a cool airline/flight was discontinued, I’ll still have some interesting stuff at my airport, while still maintaining mostly realism.
NO it’s so sad ![]()
Nah A220 much better. Those EMB 190s are old. Time Cityflyer replaced theirs.
I like to keep around what was operating back in 2017-19ish. So for example airliners like Qantas and klm 747 as well as delta 777 and american a333 would stick around but I would also purchase some a321neos and a220s here and there to allow for some interesting past and present lineups(or in other words, what if covid never happened).
In game have them both in real life they needed replacing ![]()
I’ll go one further and say anything last 20 years
. I like the idea of old and new and a lot of the current liveries were around back then such as BA’s, TAP, Delta and the such.
City flyer are better then any of BAs narrow bodys other then the new cabin Neos? And the Embraers have the new cabin now, (or at least some.)
LOT will fly to Stavanger.
Think they all do don’t they? Was 96 seats on them but they added more now like 106. Probably why this year they had to divert to Southend for fuel. ![]()
Thats not the reason, they wouldn’t operate a flight that would need more fuel then the aircraft would take
Yeah if covid never happened, BA would probably still have 20 or so 747s
Then how come it’s happening more this year now more seats been added? Plus the weather why they take less to get to Southend for more fuel.
No clue, but an airline like BA wouldn’t make a cabin refit thats in capable of flying.
