I wonder if the tug locks the nose gear down with any significant weight? Because without the engines on, I’d think the aircraft would want to do a tail strike wheelie real quick.

So i asked chat gbt and there is acutal chance of tipping backwards since the weight of the engines push the weight infront of the main landing gear. So yes the have either lines that keep the aircraft down to the tug or the tug has some special lock around the gear.

Play Airlines stop operating flights.
First WOW, now Play. It wont be the last but I feel these Icelandic companies expand too much and then struggle to compete on routes. Also, going to be a lot harder now that the 321N has arrived, no longer such a cheap market for flights via Reykjavik.

I know, play seemed to be the only cheap one, whilst Icelandair were usually around 50% more expensive, always bound to happen, good i got their entire fleet in WoApedia

St. Louis will now get a second transatlantic service, from British Airways’ 787 Dreamliner! The route is expected to be officially announced on Wednesday at 9am BST, might even be able to fly this route in the next few years!

Croatia Airlines has received its first A220-100, its seventh A220 in the fleet, in Zagreb. Registered 9A-CAO and named ‘Dubrovnik’, the aircraft is configured in a 127-seat layout.
The planned fleet renewal ends in 2027, when Croatia Airlines will have 15 new A220 aircraft.
