Oh god another crash.
An ate seemed to have stalled in Brazil causing it to crash.
Rip to everyone onboard.
Oh god another crash.
An ate seemed to have stalled in Brazil causing it to crash.
Oh mb.
Same but this is still sad
I seen videos of aircraft crashing but is one video that chills me to the core 11 years after a crash in Afghanistan.
Preliminary data shows it was at 17,000ft and cruising at just over 200kts when “it dropped approximately 250 feet in 10 seconds. It then climbed approximately 400 feet in about eight seconds. Eight seconds later, it lost just under 2,000 feet. Then, in approximately one minute, it began rapidly descending — roughly 17,000 feet in just one minute”. In order to enter the flat spin it was in, it would have to have lost most of its forward momentum, which data had it going only ~40kts as it began its last dive from 17,000ft. I’m guessing the initial 250ft drop was because it began to lose airspeed, and then the 400 ft climb was an attempt to recover altitude but caused further loss in speed, leading to the subsequent fall. It could also have been turbulence, or even perhaps icing build up (which can lead to drag and also loss of control surface function) but we’ll have to wait and see what the black box and investigators reveal. The other big thing of note is that the engines, at least one, were clearly on as it fell, so it wasn’t due to an engine failure per se.
This is SHOCKING
And nobody can say it was boeing’s fault, CAUSE ITS AN AIRBUS!
Oh and I noticed that the safety card is on top, that’s RYANAIR SEAT
Who actually still has trust in Boeing. Yea they’ve had well… A rough patch. But everyone and everything has it’s ups and downs. This stuff happens. So it’s ok airbus we know your safe. And Boeing well. As long as it’s not areosucure.
I'm scared 😁
it’s still an a320 safety card
Okay so I found out this is not the first time EI has jeopardize people lives, they also abuse children as well, one little girl was on a flight from SNN to ACE and what they did was UNBELIEVABLE she could easily wind up in hospital cause her injury was serious
Do you ever have anything positive to say about Aer Lingus or any positive airline news articles to share? At first it was quite amusing seeing you rant on about Aer Lingus and their short comings, which is perfectly valid, however it’s beginning to feel a little repetitive now.
Over the past few days, a fair few posts in the aviation talking point thread (and your past couple of posts in this thread) have consisted of you either ranting about airport security, and why you think your opinion should be a standardised way of looking at things, or complaining about Aer Lingus. I don’t want to be a misery guts here and spoil peoples times here on the forum, but can you please try and find something positive to talk about?
I’m purely saying this to keep things upbeat, I’m not trying to get on at you or anything, just want make things a little lighter hearted. As I’m sure you can understand, the frequent complaints or negative articles about Aer Lingus are getting repetitive now.
Alright, I’ll stop about pointing fingers at them, I’ll probably find something more positive from this point on, I thought useing bad report on TripAdvisor and articles that are positive but I also don’t want to cause any arguments or backlash, If you want me to stop I will and maybe stop makeing news permanently.
I don’t want anyone stop posting anything, I’m just asking you post something more positive and a bit less repetitive. A lot of media all over the place is full of negativity as of late, so just want keep things upbeat here.
Fair enough.
Well this is interesting
Sorry to interrupt @ukplanespotter757 but is this a better news source compared to before?
Much nicer, news which people might find interesting.
Virgin Australia Places Orders for E-190E2s
Virgin Australia has placed a firm order for eight Embraer E190-E2 single-aisle airliners as part of its fleet renewal programme. “When the new E190-E2 enters service from October 2025, it will become the first new aircraft in the WA charter market this century,” said Jayne Hrdlicka, Virgin Australia Group CEO.
Well if rex goes fully bust than hopefully virgin will operate some of those routes!
