Virgin Australia Places Orders for E-190E2s

Virgin Australia has placed a firm order for eight Embraer E190-E2 single-aisle airliners as part of its fleet renewal programme. “When the new E190-E2 enters service from October 2025, it will become the first new aircraft in the WA charter market this century,” said Jayne Hrdlicka, Virgin Australia Group CEO.
Well if rex goes fully bust than hopefully virgin will operate some of those routes!

E2 is one of my favorite planes. Always good news to see planes in the orderbook.

I have yet to travel on one. I’ve been on a few E170s/175s, and I liked those.

If it flies as comfortably as the E135s it’ll be a great plane!

E135s? In my opinion they’re almost as bad as the small CRJs.

It’s so good to see the E2 Jets getting their place in the world! I hope someday the E2 Jets get on the game. By now, I don’t know if I get the A223 ou the A20N to replace my A320ceo and B738…

More news, Canadian airline “Canada Jetlines” has announced their shutdown after only two years of operations. They failed to maintain “financial stability”. This continues the trend of carriers in Canada not named Air Canada, Air Transat or WestJet gradually staring to downsize or collapse altogether.

Forgot to post this the other day. Sad for the B77X development, but hopefully it’s righted quickly.
Bad design, poor part QC, or are we reaching the limits of aircraft size/weight vs single engine thrust power?

I just really want the 777X . For BA it’s confirmed to be part of the 777 fleet (same flight training and stuff) so i might be ablw to go on one like a month after its delivery to ba. So 2 or 3 years :joy:

Rip the mad dog.
Loved seeing this aircraft at DFW but sadly I could never fly on the md80.

They’re a pretty nice ride! Kind of like 737 and CRJ had a baby (a big baby). I don’t ever remember having any turb on the flights, but that was probably luck.

Hello everyone, this thread is to announce very important news. Through a media outlet from the United States, it was announced that Pan Am Airlines will return with a fleet of aircraft starting in 2025.

Not only the B757, there are other planes that I read in a post, I don’t remember which ones.

I’m excited I might book a flight

I doubt it will happen, we seen like this happed with Monarch which was made by a group of pranksters or Flybe which when relaunched only lasted 8 months, it will probably fall in the same category as these 2.

If it does happen it will be like 5 flights on 1 aircraft and it would be 50k for 1

It’s just one luxury travel package. You can’t book just one flight
