Ngl I dunno what all the hate is about, I lowkey think it looks great. Yeah, I think the older livery is still better, but this one is real classy as well.
My personal take on it is that the livery appeals to a 1970s style of design (colors, cheatline), rather than the modern style I would expect for a national flagship, and the clip art tail is an abomination. I also don’t like what it represents politically, although that is of course a matter of opinion.

Qantas will launch its world-first non-stop services between Sydney and London from October 2027, the first time the Kangaroo Route has ever been flown without stops from Australia’s east coast. Sydney-New York confirmed as the next service.
Both ultra long-haul routes (up to 22h) will be served with A350-1000ULR. Qantas has ordered 12.
