The first Airbus A330MRTT for Canada

NEW AIRLINE CREATED IN ITALY, Yesterday, the newborn AIRIDEA, operating the Saab 340, made its maiden flight (first flight with passenger) from GOA (Genoa) to TRS (Trieste)

Ngl I dunno what all the hate is about, I lowkey think it looks great. Yeah, I think the older livery is still better, but this one is real classy as well.

My personal take on it is that the livery appeals to a 1970s style of design (colors, cheatline), rather than the modern style I would expect for a national flagship, and the clip art tail is an abomination. I also don’t like what it represents politically, although that is of course a matter of opinion.

Aircraft might be reparable, it’s a 777 so not a carbon fiber fuselage, and probably not catastrophic structural damage

New route confirmed from the Trieste Friuli Venezia Giulia Airport (TRS):

Finally, after some months of discontinuity, TRS will be re-connected to LIN (Milan Linate) wit Aeroitalia, it will start the 1st of July.

Qantas will launch its world-first non-stop services between Sydney and London from October 2027, the first time the Kangaroo Route has ever been flown without stops from Australia’s east coast. Sydney-New York confirmed as the next service.
Both ultra long-haul routes (up to 22h) will be served with A350-1000ULR. Qantas has ordered 12.
