Same! I think since they’ve been parked there, one of them transitioned from Lufthansa paint to WGA, and then had all the doo-dads patched up and engine in, so hope for those two at least (unless they swapped them around). There’s a few others on the property that have their engines out and some pieces missing, maybe being canabalized. The B744 has been there as long and I’m not sure what it’s up to but seems more patched up than it was. Maybe a civilian one they’ve been working on converting.

So I popped down to Hawarden to see the final landing of Beluga NO.5,
On approach over Wervin, it popped out of the cloud just at the point you see on the map above (likely lots of disappointed people in Ellesmere Port due to the low cloud,

Ta! It was quite chilly down there as you’re quite close to the Dee and its all ex-floodplain so very flat. It was due to do a flypast but Mother Nature decided to send the low cloud in and ruined it 
. Was surprised just how many people there were, probably 50 odd on the road I was on, same at far end of the runway, loads on the riverbank and footbridge and a couple of hundred packing the car park at the top end of the airport.
