I’m currently on holiday in Northern Ireland, wentbhiking today and during that a RAF Red Arrows formation of five planes flew by quit deep. Is that normal training?
I wasn’t fast enough to tacke a photo, as fast as they appeared, they were in away in fog

Pretty normal tbf, in Wales we get a lot of the training Hawks from RAF Valley on Anglesey coming down the valleys at a few hundred foot. Fabulous when they blast past.

Three not so common sights I’ve had recently on a flight back from ANC yesterday.
- We were carrying back fresh produce from NLU so our main deck was temperature controlled. When we landed in HKG, the humidity from opening the cargo door fogged up the whole main deck.
- In the middle of the Pacific Ocean, we came across these red lights from fishing trawlers. It filled the sea with a deep red.
- The Milky Way coming through really nicely in the night sky. We were pretty light so we were at 43000 feet. Made the night sky really shine with no clouds in the way.

So this is probably one of the rarest (and coolest) aircraft I’ve had the pleasure of catching. This is N117TG, a Lockheed C-130A Hercules, being the oldest airworthy C-130 in the world. She was built in 1954, and was the 20th C-130 ever built. Super happy I was able to catch it, and at my local airport no less. It’s amazing this Herc is 72 years old and still flying.

Caught Air Force 1 flying near my house today carrying Donald Trump! Though i wasn’t able to come to Dublin Airport due to uncertain situation i would personally not face.

Will the AF1 stay at Dublin. I’m flying back from there tomorrow.
From what i have been told on social media apperanty no, its departing this lunchtime to head to Shannon Airport on the other end of the island, they will then leave Shannon tomorrow.
