Well, tomorrow marks the final day of Jet2 757 operations, and ultimately the end of British registered passenger 757s. Considering this, I decided to go through all my photos and thought I’d share them here to celebrate the Jet2 757s careers. So here you will find photos of all but 1 of Jet2s 757s (G-LSAH is the only one I didn’t get a photo of, leased ones aren’t included as I never actually got a photo of any), with a mix of spotting photos and photos from onboard from over the years. So let’s get started, shall we!

G-LSAA - Jet2 Tenerife

G-LSAB - Jet2 Menorca

G-LSAC

G-LSAD

G-LSAE

G-LSAG

G-LSAI

G-LSAJ

G-LSAK

G-LSAN

Having always seen 757s at MAN, be they First Choice, Monarch, Thomas Cook, Icelandair, United, Delta, American, Thomson, TUI or Jet2 airframes, having them go from a once regular visitor and having a sizeable number of based aircraft to a once every now and again sight is going to take some getting use to. However, as we look back on the lives of these wonderful aircraft, we have to consider that one day we will be seeing their replacements getting retired as well, so we shouldn’t take even the most common of aircraft for granted, as they will inevitably depart somewhere for one last time in the future after many years of service.

So with that, we have reached the end of an era. Farewell Jet2 757s, and thank you for the memories over the years!

Sorry for your loss :disappointed:

Only ever got one picture of the Jet2 757 (saw quite a few) while taking off from malaga. The 757s a very nice aircraft. (In my opinion the 2nd best Boeing). Hopefully i can see many more when i go to ATL.
Thanks all the jet2 757 pilots, cabin crew and passengers! May the jet2 757 live on together in all our hearts (especially you @ukplanespotter757 :joy:)

So there is your famous profile pic

Airtours was before my time, I can never recall seeing a MyTravel one surprisingly.

Yep, from onboard G-LSAK, MAN to FUE in June 2023.
