Why all the aircraft approach on the same side of the airport? Couldn’t the devs makes it lands at the opposite side of the runway?

Because in real life all the runways could be landed at both sides
No ik they can. But it would probably be too hard to do. Also at some airports they really onley do it on one side. Like sxm.

Yea but thats the way it is i guess. It would be cool to have both runways at lhr land and takeoff as sometimes they have a few aircraft land before any takeoff on the at the time departure runway
The other thing is the taxiways, as the route to the gates would be different. Would require more programming.

Devs have said that one way on one runway can take several months to code all related taxi routes and each direction and each runway increases time exponentially

It’s actually more than that, it’s a complete re-write of the game logic to allow it, both landing, take off. Taxiing and pathing all would need to essentially be doubled. The concern is not just the time to do it, but the impact on the size of the game, which is already pretty big.
I know the devs would love to do it, but unless they are keeping it totally under wraps I don’t see this happening any time soon.

I can understand that, it might crash more player’s phones >_<
