Why should this livery be added?
This is one of my all time favourite aircraft and livery to go with it. I think it just pairs so very nicely. 30 of these were operated, 24 of which were acquired new to SAS from 1998, with the other 6 arriving from the acquisition of Braathens by SAS in 2005. They would be an excellent addition to the airline’s fleet, providing a shorter aircraft type in the, imo better, old livery and more variety for players to choose for their routes from Scandinavia. These aircraft were semi-regularly seen at LHR as well as appearing at INN and PRG from time-to-time, with them serving a majority of European airports like MAN, CDG, PMI, ALC, PSA & HEL amongst others. They were all retired in the late 2010s with the final one being taken out of service on 30 November 2019.
