Why should this airline be added?
Operating a leased 737-500 from Armavia (Whom was the joint owner of the airline), itself just acquired from Czech Airlines, this airline was set to begin operations in September 2011. The aircraft was painted up and delivered to Bratislava after painting at Norwich, beginning flights in December to Yerevan on behalf of Armavia. The airline collapsed and was sold off before it even flew its own flights in early 2012, mainly due to lack of capital to fund its beginnings but also due to severe competition from Ryanair which had been expanding its presence in the city over the past year.A strange and obscure carrier who didn’t really do much, it would be great to see as part of the future 737 update, providing Slovakia with a proper airline, a full livery and operating a lesser used variant of the 737 family.
