They also operated a 737-300 but not in Armavia colours and an SSJ95 but I don’t believe we’ll be seeing that anytime soon. Also, they operated a Yak 42 for VIP services and in the past operated the IL-86 and TU134.
Why should this airline be added?
This airline was the flag carrier of Armenia and was founded in 1996, when the country had stabilised after their independence from the USSR and the end of the Karabakh War, and went into administration in 2013. The airline served as the gateway for Armenia into Europe and the world as well as a point of pride for Armenians, representing them on the world stage. The airline showed an interest in running routes to Los Angeles if they could get an aircraft to do it but sadly never did. Would be a great airline to add to Yerevan and it had a fantastic livery which would be ace to see in-game. It also would serve as a fab local airline if EVN - Zvartnots International Airport (Yerevan) 🇦🇲 is ever added.
