Ta, but likely will be used as gates as their some gates at Heathrow that used for VIP or parking till their flight later that day. But in WoA they are passenger gates.

When Sydney Airport becomes available and it’s locked, do we have to play all the levels of Heathrow Airport to get Sydney airport to unlock without using gold planes?
Yes, and more will be added. Expect to need to get level 82 or 83 to unlock for free

If I’m not mistaken, level 80 at LHR was between 1000 and 1100 XP, so we are looking at between 2000 and 2500 XP to get to whatever level SYD is part of, assuming it’ll be 82 based on the fact LHR was the 2nd of 3 additional levels at SXM. Things could be different this time around however, we won’t know for sure until SYD drops.

I think Sydney is the most important thing right now, the priority is to finish Sydney. I don’t like that all the work is put into the landing gear function, which doesn’t play a big role in this game. Sydney plays an important role in this game and brings many new gameplay elements to the game instead the landing gear function. I hope Sydney gets ready soon.

Though, the gear has been requested by many, and all the work is not being put into the gear only. The devs listen to the players and this is one thing that has been heavily requested. Sydney is nearly finished (I’m pretty sure) since they’ve probably completed landings/takeoffs and the taxi system, according to their previous insta posts.

I’ve seen 60/61 with a fedex plane on apple maps earth. Though I’m not on my phone I’ll try getting an img soon
I would wish we had a level cap of 2000, so they can add multiple levels at once without it towering so high later. Meaning that every level would be 2000 xp from there
Your kidding me right? The gear function has been the most requested feature to be added since day 1 and the Devs changed their minds about adding it after all aircraft was remodeled and now doing it.
If you don’t like it, fair enough, but you can’t say it can’t be added now and yes it’s coming with SYD in 2.4.0 coming probably August.

I get it but lots of people are starting to get impatient about waiting a few years gear animation to be added for them to remodel evey single aircraft in the game, besides it has been heavily requested since day 1 in 2019, I been also wanted it to be added already at the time, it has been nearly 5 years ago since the game was released so hearing saying that there going to added now really started to buzz the community about it.
I don’t know why a lad started it saying he don’t like it…

Each level will only be about 1400 or so. That figure is for both levels combined

Not really though… at the end of the day it’s just a new airport, there’s not really gonna be anything new coming with it specifically other than liveries.
Landing gear on the other hand is probably one of the most requested features.

Exactly this as aircraft come into land on the game when landing gear is already down in real world. I’d rather Sydney and existing aircraft get updated first before worrying about the landing gear.

Rather have existing aircraft updated then worry about if landing gear goes up or down and technical Dreamliners leave the gear down after take off till aircraft disappears anyway.
