What’chya think they mean by preparing generic aircraft traffic for the airport? Like the contracts that the player will have initially and in the rewards? Or random planes we won’t control such as general aviation landing/taxiing to different parts?

I think the update will release on july 4th since it would be the one year anniversary of 2.0.0 and especially since aa new UI is releasing it would be cool to see how far our beloved game has come in just one year. If it doesnt release on that date I wouldnt really care but it would just be really cool

While I do believe we’ll get an event the 4th of July is quite close. I’d be surprised if we even got it this summer. My guess is sometime in autumn since beta testing hasn’t even started yet as far as I know.
The new teasers they gave are very exciting but there’s still a lot to do (including polishing the taxi system which is one of the longest and hardest tasks).

Why do you want 4th of July in WOA? As far as I know many players are not American, so why bother?
Not going to be July 4th, not even close. They have just started alpha testing (meaning basic logic of the airport). It will be a while before the first beta test will be available and on an airport that size we are looking at 12-16 beta test versions before it hits the streets. At the earliest you are looking at late July early August but to be 100% clear with everyone, that’s not a concrete time, its my estimate of the earliest time. So do not say it’s certain, it’s not.
