A319 (A319-100) (13 operated for TACA, 2 for Costa Rica, 4 for Peru),

This little chap is actually photographed at IAD.

Old livery,

Above taken in 2015,

Star Alliance livery,

A320 (A320-200) (39 operated for TACA, 7 for Costa Rica, 2 for Peru),

Old livery (This was worn till September 2019 as this was photographed on its last flight before leaving the fleet),

Large text variant (Below in 2013, TACA had 2 different text sizes which is unusual),

Parrots old livery,

75 years livery,

Parrot livery,

Star Alliance,

A321 (A321-200) (4 operated for TACA, 1 for Costa Rica, 1 for Peru),

Old livery (Used well into Avianca’s takeover such as below in November 2015),

Again both text sizes used,

Parrot livery,

75 Years parrot livery,

E190 (Embraer 190) (12 operated for only TACA El Salvador, not true some flew for TACA Costa Rica too),

Costa Rica reg (No difference bar flag),

A332 (A330-200) (1 operated for Peru only, only wore Star Alliance colours),

Also, if we ever get a Central American airport, the ATR 42-300 of TACA Regional would be a pleasant addition. From the late 1990s until 2013, the 10 AT43’s flew from Guatemala and Honduras, connecting them to the hubs at San Jose and San Salvador and thus onwards to destinations across the Americas.

Old ATR livery,

Adding the past fleet as well, could be good for some special events,

A30BF (A300B4-200(F)) (5 operated, retired by 2001),

B732 (737-200Adv) (16 operated, retired by 2005),

1990s livery,

B733 (737-300) (9 operated, retired by 1999),

B762 (767-200) (2 operated by the airline, 4 others leased throughout the 1990s, retired by 2002),

B763 (767-300) (3 operated),

BA11 (BAC 1-11) (4 operated, 3 -400’s, 1-500),

1983 at Houston,

:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
Would give El Salvador another option with a distinct livery alongside Avianca El Salvador which is what TACA was merged into. TACA Airlines was the second oldest continuously operating airline after Cubana so is very historical, founded in 1931. It has a really beautiful livery which sadly wasn’t around for very long prior to being slurped into Avianca fully in 2013. Used to frequent many US Airports including Washington which is in the game, as well as many Central American and South American destinations.

Edit: TACA also had 2 subsidiaries, TACA Peru and TACA Costa Rica (ex-LACSA), which I am including here as it’s essentially the same airline.

Lasting until 2019 as seen here,

TACA destinations in the late 2000s,
