Why should this livery be added?
TUIfly operated 21of this type passed down from HLX Express, the LCC side of Hapag-Lloyd which was the precursor to TUIfly changing in 2007, 8 of which were passed onto Germania in 2008. The remaining 13 were operated by TUIfly on behalf of Air Berlin from around 2010 until the latter’s collapse in 2017, whereby the majority were sent onto new owners or passed to TUI Belgium, with only 3 remaining with the fleet, one of which was painted into these colours. The type was instrumental in getting TUIfly up and running in the late 2010s and would be a great addition to the airlines fleet.
