Other – Splitting an airline group up into affiliate airlines. Not sure if this is the right template but I’m lost.
What is your suggestion?
TUI Airways should be split up into its relevant bits as the different airlines have different fleets, and in the past they had different liveries.
How would it work in the game?
If you wanted TUI UK, you’d have that airlines fleet options, TUI Belgium would have its own fleet options and so on.
Why is this a good idea?
Would allow for each affiliate airline to have its own fleet and thus identity. TUI UK only ever used the 737-800 and -300 even when flying as Thomson, whereas TUI Germany used the -700 and the -500 as well as the -300 and -800. TUI Belgium uses the Embraer family but no other member does, yet all have access to them which is unrealistic, even though I like the option. Would make it easier for implementation of liveries as well.
