- Blocked Stands - Especially for smaller Airports.
- Inactive contracts. We need some way to detect them.
First of all, i want to share my discussion in the General discussion area. I also created this Feature requests Here, because a Lot Players have told me to do. Here you can See the other discussion:
What is your suggestion?
My Suggestion: There are two major Problems, in my opinion, wich would be very important that Something Changes there.
If i send a aircraft to another Player, i Always have to wait, until my contracts gets accepted. Even when i renew my contracts after 10x handeled, i need to let it Land and let it wait until its getting accepted. Even the Tower Manager will do that. That way, when i have for example 200 own Planes to Land, i cant use the Tower Manager, because otherwise my Stands will get blocked before i am even finished with other Planes.
Thats even a bigger Problem for smaller Airports Like INN, BRI, SXM. But even for IAD its a big Problem, because when i have like 10 big planes waiting, i have to run my airport on low capacity.
The other Problem: We need any way to detect, for how long a contract is not active. We have a timer, for how long a plane is waiting for acceptance, but we dont have anything to see, If a plane isnt coming back for months or even years.
How would it work in the game?
How could all that be changed in the Game?
The timer for unused connections is just a small feature, very important but very small one. Just do it Like the other timer for pending requests.
Otherwise you can just add a “Last time handeled” to the contracts. With a Date.
Maybe with a feature to sort them in the fleet manager.
The other problem, blocked stands, is a bit more difficult.
We already have that fleet Manager, where we buy and sell planes. For now, we have two ways, where we can send an aircraft to someone. At the airport, klicking on the aircraft or in the fleet manager. But the aircraft have to be at a stand and will block it, until its accepted.
You could move that, only to the fleet manager. Then you can change it, that the aircraft dont have to land, to be assigned to a contract or sent somewhere. Simply just dont let aircrafts land, wich do not have an active and working contract.
The contracts would be assigned in that fleet manager before landing. That way, no aircraft will ever block a stand again.
Even for renewals, that would work.
When an aircraft came back from a finished connection, 10/10 completed, ready to collect silverplanes/XP, just dont let it land. Just let it appear in your fleet manager, let the Player collect their rewards in there and ask in that fleet manager, If the Player wants to renew or cancle the contract. Exactly like the Game does, while the aircraft is at the stand, just without being landet. In the fleet manager, it can get this red dot, wich tells, there is an aircraft wich needs attention. Like it do now, when such a finished airplane is landet.
Why is that a good idea?
Well, i know a lot Players, including me, who really want to play at smaller airports with limited stands, without the need to Play attention to every single aircraft, to dont accidently let any aircraft land, wich is 10/10 in its contracts. So we cant even use the delivery manager, because he dont care.
So we really need a other way to send our planes. Just without letting them block the airport.
So thats it, please Tell me your opinion about there two problems.
Thx
