# **🛠️ Update on A330-200 / A330-300 Engine Variants**

Hello everyone,

We’d like to clarify the recent changes regarding the A330-200 / A330-300 engine variants.

:magnifying_glass_tilted_left: What Happened?

As part of upcoming improvements, we removed certain engine variants (GE versions) from the store.

This change is connected to a new feature currently in development :

:backhand_index_pointing_right: A customization system, which will allow players to configure aircraft with:

  • Different engine types
  • Different wing / wingtip variants

:warning: What Issue Occurred?

Our original plan was to:

  • Replace removed GE variants with RR versions for affected players

However, this created an unexpected situation, as some players already had both GE and RR variants unlocked.

:compass: What Happens Now?

We are currently:

  • Reviewing all affected cases
  • Working on a fair and consistent solution for everyone

:backhand_index_pointing_right: Most importantly: no player will lose the value of what they already unlocked.

:light_bulb: Compensation

If a direct solution is not possible in some cases, appropriate compensation (such as Golden Planes or equivalent value) will be provided .

:heart: We Understand

We understand that this situation may be frustrating, especially for players who invested time or resources into these variants.

Our goal is to resolve this in a way that is fair, transparent, and respectful to all players .

We will update you as soon as we have a confirmed solution.

So what we bought including the liveries will be refunded,their GP will be given back??

Or we would be able to use the other engine in the future with a bit of GP given back and feature of changing engine for A332/A333 for people who unlocked both RR and GE like me for free without GP spending for customization??

You likely will get GPS for the liveries and missed airplane.

Hi @Charlie should we send an email to support or else do you already have track of it who lost personally i lost around 100gp worth of stuff

They have previous versions data stored, so they can use that to determine who has what. GP will be awarded soonish

we have already some test cases but we will roll it out globaly as automatic process.

Thank you for the transparency and quick updates.

I bought all 330s with all their liveries.

You can imagine how I felt when I first saw the GE version is completely gone lol

Glad to know that you guys are on top of this already.

Will be patiently waiting for the compensation.

Are there any news on when this will be the case? Is it planned to come with 3.5.1 or will it be independent from the update? :slight_smile:

If you need it urgently, you can create ticket and we will do it manually

Hello, in my case it is not really urgent. But I would also like to know until when the compensation for buying the 332&333 with GE-engines and also the lost liveries can be expected. Thanks!
