VC10
Aircraft Model (Name & Manufacturer)
Vickers (Super) VC10 by Vickers-Armstrongs (later BAC)
Aircraft Category
D
Purpose or Role in Game
Historic (1962-2013) mid-sized, narrow-body, long-range British jet airliner. Also used as a strategic air transport and aerial refuelling aircraft for the Royal Air Force.
Why should this aircraft be added?
The more historic aircraft in game (DH46, DC3, Concorde, soon B741 and MD-11) have a certain iconic status to them. With its engineering, looks and service history the VC10 certainly fits this category.
Filling in the gap between DH46 en B741 it would make the historic side of the game more complete, whilst allowing players to enjoy more diversity. If ever Kai Tak is added, the VC10 landed there too. And the RAF flew them all over the world.
