Arriving over the houses of Myrtle Avenue (Hope we see this modelled in a future LHR overhaul),
Lifting off from SYD bound for HKG and onwards to LHR in 2005,
Adding this fella landing at LAX (3 types fading into the past),
Why should this livery be added?
Virgin Atlantic operated 19 of these lanky beasts, flying them on all their long haul routes from LHR as well as seeing use here and there from LGW and MAN from the first ones delivery in 2002 until their final retirement in March 2020. As the VIR A346 saga drew to a close in 2019, 4 of the final 7 were retired leaving G-VNAP (The ‘a big virgin atlantic thank you’ aircraft), G-VFIT and G-VWIN in the fleet to continue operations in 2020, though ofc as we all know that was cut short. G-VFIT and G-VWIN were both delivered in 2006 and were never repainted into the new livery, as well as being retired last in March 2020 whilst G-VNAP was retired in the February, meaning this livery was the last one seen on Virgin Atlantic’s A340-600s.This would be a great addition to the LHR scene, showing a contrast to the livery we have in-game and bolstering the number of A340-600s that players can operate. In addition having this available at HKG for SYD would be a fantastic addition. All hail the true longest passenger plane in the world
