What is the purpose of special paints?

I’d like to know what their function is. I’d like to use them, and I suggest selling the special paintings with the green coins (the game’s green currency).

What do you mean by special paints?
If you’re talking about the different liveries you can put on your own aircraft; those are just for giving a personal touch to your airline.
You can buy those with GP (the golden planes/points).

For example, the airline Azul:

I’d like to use it, for example, on the Rosa aircraft.

They arrive as events and some of them are included as level up rewards at some airports.
A possibility to buy these liveries for permanent contracts has already been suggested in the feature requests category:

We should have the ability to purchase the event only contracts as permanent ones. The price would depend on: the level of your airport (local, regional, international) The size of the contract (A,B,C,D,E,F,G) The type of event (retired livery, retired special livery, current special livery, bankrupt/closed airline)
