As for the configuration changes, my understanding is that you couldnāt change them while an aircraft is under contract even before 2.0.1
No carlsberg, now its not possible now, after i have updatet the game (since the last update). I did several tries, befor i can collect the rewards, after that i have done and befor/after i can/did extant the contract.
I tried also restart the game and empty the cache, but no chance to change the settings. 
What he means is that when a plane has a contract assigned to it, you CANāT change the configuration. You can only change it when there is no contracts assigned to the plane.
do i have to cancel the contract and complete a new one? When i do, i will lost all progress to earn XP and Silverplanes!! 
If you want to change the configuration, then yes you would have to do that. Just like normal life. Airlines wouldnāt pull an aircraft off a contract or slot in the middle of something, they do it when the aircraft has downtime or due for a heavy maintenance
Jetblue did this with their A320ās, when their aircraft had slack in their schedule or maintenance requirements they sent them down to El Salvador to refit them from 150 to 162 seats. Took them about a month to do it and did 5 at a timeā¦
I translated the red language from German to English, it says exactly you canāt change the configuration while there is an active contract

The plane was frozen after the first picture, which showed it about to fly, but it now seems to be stuck in a frozen state.
There are some planes that crash while trying to land in the second picture, which shows some that do
Counted my contact cards on SXM. 32 total. The onscreen count says 37/36.

According to the notification, another player has accepted my connection request, but I cannot start handling the plane when I go into NGO.
How can I establish a permanent connection to another player? A contract with a random player seems to me not permanent?
Is there a way to find out if my planes were randomly handeld by other players?
