@Quatorz77 Runways 10/28 aren‘t even programmed for in game. if you look at ZRH at night you can see they haven‘t placed the Runway lights on that Runway, only the lights for crossing… That‘s a shame, it would make the airport even better… I think it‘s the same with Prague, maybe they have difficulties with programming crossing runways… Maybe in the future with new , who knows.. Nevertheless they did an amazing job on the airport.

Runway 28 is operating in game, I played it myself. It might be only for departures though

it lights up in my game. have you tried restarting it? maybe the runway layout changes every time you reopen the game

No and I’m kinda disappointed
Especially seeing the new American special livery
I know the 737 is getting a make over but this livery shouldn’t be that difficult to make

As for someone who appreciates every inch of detail in the scenery, ZRH is simply magnificent. It is a bliss to use each camera and spot the landscape around the airport while the planes are taxiing.

Btw. I am kind of curious if the Swiss A220-300 is going to used for future maintenance work in within the game :wink:

I agree its brilliant

I have to say, ZRH is an incredible accomplishment and super enjoyable to play.

  • The amount of detail in not just the airport but also the scenery is fantastic. I wasn’t sure if we were going to get the mountains in the 3D background and getting that much of the region is just icing on the cake.
  • The pass rewards with the Swiss B463 special, Helvetic F100 special, Edelweiss A320 special, A332 Star Alliance, and the Swiss A359 special are just great haves. It’s nice to have these at our airports more often.
  • The flow is really nice to the airport, even if some of the taxis are a bit on the long side. But most of the time with 14 being used as landings the pier A is super quick to fill up.

I’m curious how the airport will age, but so far, its one of my favorites upon release.

i completely agree. feels like a proper real airport more than any other. a nice mix of flights aswell and like you the special liveries as award NEEDSSS to be the new norm. makes them truly earnt and makes it even more realistic so a huge well done @Charlie and Devs for that addition. (i know its been on the last few aswell but feels more prominent on this one)

The other airport that stands out to me in this way is MSY with the American chrome, Southwest 737 special, Canada mint green, etc… but I think only 1 of the specials there was to an airline that actually hubs at the airport so they don’t feel as natural as these will once I grind to the point where they are unlocked. I still do wish there was more ways to get specials to show up at the airport though… once the airport is full only having a handful out of several hundred contracts be specials will be quite sad.

I have unlocked ZHR yesterday, and I buy my first Premium pass for this airport, some tips?

Thanks for Devs team for this incredible work. Just a small concern: holding short and lining up time in ZRH seem to be longer than other airports. Previously I was in HKG, where I noticed the next plane in queue will enter the runway after the last one passes the touchdown zone, and the takeoff roll will start almost immediately after the last one lifts off the ground. Not quite sure whether this prolonged waiting time is more realistic or some kind of mechanism.

It’s realistic when rwy 14 and 16 are active due to the intersection of the departure path from 16 and the missed approach path of planes landing at 14. So if a plane is on finals for 14, the plane lined up at 16 cannot take off. Also there are runway crossings so that can contribute as well to the delay in takeoffs.

I’ll edit this with the infographic from ZurichAirportSpotter in youtube that explains this if I find it in one of his lives.

Loving ZRH so far. Great choice by the developers! Hopefully one day we can also see GIG joining the game and representing Brazil.
