I was just thinking about suggesting this earlier today we totally need Comac aircraft in WoA, and the C909 would be a great place to start, with the type being used internationally across East Asia, reachable from 2 playable airports now.

I didnt found any other version than the standard C909. As well I didnt found the Hainan livery

I only found one Comac ARJ-21-700 (F). It has the livery of YTO Cargo Airlines in the special ‘Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games’ paint scheme.

Another one is supposed to have been delivered to Air Central, but I can’t find any pictures or official information about it.

I believe it to likely be a mistake. Hainan has ordered the C919 but not the C909.

I’ve found an article on Comac’s website about delivery of the first two converted freighters in October 2023:

As for Hainan Airlines, they reportedly have 40 C909s on order, but from what I was able to gather, none have been delivered as of yet: “… But it announced that Hainan Airlines had placed a firm order for 60 C919 narrowbody jets and 40 C909s.”

No one said that the COMAC will come before the B717. Just because I need to prepare the data doesn’t mean COMAC is right around the corner. In fact, it may or may not be released alongside the Hong Kong airport.
