New Airport

  • HKG Hong Kong: 3 active runways, 2 passenger terminals with 15 extensions, 1 cargo terminal with 6 extensions, 258 passenger stands, 78 cargo stands, and 90 progression levels

  • Time and Weather Feature: Manual Airport Time and Weather Control
    • A new optional weather management tool is available from the airport UI (temperature and weather icon next to airport levels), allowing players to change:
      • Time offset from +13h to -13h using the time offset slider
      • Weather conditions by switching weather icons (snowy weather cannot be set manually due to technical limitations)
      • Return to real METAR data using the “Set” button
    • Real METAR weather data are loaded by default when entering the airport
    • The list of active runways is shown at the bottom of the Time and Weather window
  • New Sorting and Filters
  • Line Up & Take Off operation (combined action) is now possible when the runway is not occupied

  • Updated ATC wind reports based on wind direction and speed, available during landing and takeoff when Radio is enabled in Audio options

Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Handling van animation bug fixed: Chocks van and cleaning van are now always positioned correctly

  • Missing liveries on handling equipment vehicles at PRG Prague fixed
  • ATC runway communication issues fixed: All runway numbers are now pronounced correctly. For example:
    • RWY 02 (MSY) is pronounced ZERO TWO by ATC and shown as 02 in the radio panel
    • RWY 07 (CNN) is pronounced ZERO SEVEN by ATC and shown as 07 in the radio panel
    • RWY 07L / 07C / 07R (HKG) are pronounced ZERO SEVEN LEFT / CENTER / RIGHT and shown as 07L / 07C / 07R
  • Deicing minigame frost layer visibility issue fixed
  • Deicing minigame progress bar fixed on iOS devices: Progress percentage now updates correctly

  • Road traffic direction corrected based on real-world operation at NGO Nagoya, LHR London Heathrow, SYD Sydney, BKK Bangkok, and HKG Hong Kong: Vehicles now drive on the left side
  • Ambulift vehicle position fixed for AT43, AT45, and AT46 airplanes

  • B748 handling positions updated (front baggage loader, pilot positions, cargo loader at R1 doors) and airplane nose interior updated
  • Updated sound profiles for F70 and F100

  • Airline logos updated in WoApedia: JetGo (JG)

Thanks again for this, was hoping to get maybe INN as the first airport with wind direction operations, and the split handling. Hope that’s in the next Q update

Thanks our hardworking lovely Devs! Really really cool to see how far the games come, even in the 2 or 3 years I’ve played, can’t imagine the difference people see from the Airport PRG days! Great update, and I now have the aircraft that made my childhood, the BA747 : )

Has anyone figured out where to find the time and weather feature that was added? I’m unable to find anything to change the time/metar

In the top left corner of the screen where it shows your level progress, tap the weather/temperature next to that and it’ll bring up the interface to change the weather and time.

Hate to say it but, i thought we are getting more 757 liverys but in my opinion, there is still a lack of it!

wait, does that mean that now all airports will switch directions for landings/takeoffs based on METAR? I don’t think so right, since they would need to draw more taxi layouts?

But could you make a cathay pacific a regional and/or international airline? Coz they are using their wide-body aircrafts on the routes to China, Thailand etc….It would bring more realistic feeling into the game…for example playing in BKK cathay is categorized as regional airline.

Do you have to pay 22 gold planes to unlock? I don’t see a “reach level n" to unlock” thing.
