Don’t know anybody that was affected. And besides making a lot of news, I think it affected the Airline and other airlines using the system more than it affected passengers. It basically showed that the system almost all plane tickets run on has fundamental weaknesses that are becoming more likely to flare up. Plus, anyone flying Southwest (an American Ultra Low Cost Airline), bought their tickets for like 10 raspberries and a stick of gum.
What do you guys think are the best/cleanest liveries of all time?
I say TUI
and jetblue
and the ANA a380
What are yours?
Yes.
Obviously because your a TUI fan
Not to mention it fits well on the 757 and 767
How did you know?
Obviously from your user profile that says “TUI superfan”
Really, I thought he was a Thomas Cook fan?
Jokes aside the TUI livery is really nice, looks great, to think it’s been around for 12 years already.
Petition for more TUI in WOA
Well they need to add more and more UK Holiday airlines livery to keep Brits happy. On top of that I am trying to bypass a lack of an EI ATR72 and a Jet2 Holidays 737-800
Hopefully the Jet2 A321s are added, that’ll be a win in my books
Hopefully they would if they don’t I’ll just keep makeing ex Jet2 Holidays aircraft
Wait, he isn’t a fan of virgin Atlantic, darn I just lost $30 for a bet
What are your thoughts on Dubai’s New Airport
400 aircraft gates
5 runways
260 mil passengers a year capacity
13 millions tons of cargo per year
35$ BILLION dollar plan
Who agrees that bringing food though security and onboard aircraft should be prohibited and banned (expect duty free as you buy it after security)
- Yes food brought on board should be banned
- No don’t ban it, we want to eat our own food
That would be impossible to enforce because people can buy food after security. It’s like movie theatres trying to stop people from bringing their own food in.
Thats duty free food that doesn’t count, I am talking about food that is bought before security, liquids like water and orange juice are banned before going through security so why not food?
I’m assuming we’re talking the rest of the world here, in the US everything food or drink is banned afaik
Many liquids are banned in large quantities due to a bomb conspiracy using liquid explosive in the UK, even then some airports are phasing this out due to advanced scanning systems. Most airports allow you to bring small quantities of liquid in a designated bag. Some foods are also banned because they can spread native food diseases to other countries creating invasive species. Otherwise there is no reason
Exactly, but duty free food from what I remember there not banned but bringing in the country or before security they are banned.
