Hello, this is the proposal list of variants for B747 except the 8 series as those were updated recently:
IT IS JUST PROPOSAL LIST IT DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING ABOUT THE RELEASE DATE AND IF ALL THE VARIANTS WILL MAKE IT IN THE GAME!! ITS MORE ABOUT THE FEEDBACK IF ANYTHING SHOULD BE ADDED

Would be nice of course to have all version, but the -400 with all engine variants and Freighter version should have priority IMO to get updated to the standard of the -8 as those are the most flying at the moment

744all versions definitely priority i agree. freighters highest of them all for me

Would it be possible to maybe add the M variants (-200M, -300M and -400M), which are the passenger/cargo combis? When handling those, they would be at a passenger stand, but among all the usual services they would additionally require cargo unloading and loading through cargo door in the rear part of the fuselage. This could hypothetically serve as a stepping stone towards introduction of belly cargo, i. e. cargo carried in the baggage hold of pax planes.
I realise that it wouldn’t be easy to implement, but I think it’s something worth considering, as it would further enhance realism of the game and enrich the gameplay, by introducing one more element of real-life aviation.

Also, would be great to have the converted 747 variants for freight .

Nahhh bro, the 74F is much more needed since they are still flying around. let’s be for real

VC-25A perhaps? They’d be cool event planes, or even contracts available from an airport near Joint Base Andrews.

Honestly I just hope in general that when they eventually remodel the 74f9because it will be remodeled eventually) they just take the RR into consideration cuz in my eyes we need them both equally to complete the 744 family

Would this include the Dreamlifter? It’s a modified 747

The 74F is the version 1 model, that still needs to be updated. And again it’s more in use than any 100/200/300 which are nice to have, but maybe it would be better to focus on whats actually 'still flying

Is the 747SR a -100 or -300 variant? I thought it was a -100 variant like the SP since it was around in 1975. The -300SR might be the 100BSR which was from 1979 and was still based on the 100. Though, I am just reading this from Wikipedia (maybe partially incorrect) and it might be wrong.

Also, the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft were modified 747’s

These are a bit niche but there’s also high density variants for the Japanese market. I’ve added these variants below.

Variant Role Engines Wingtip First Flight
747-100SR (short range) Passenger PW JT9D-7A None 1973
747-100BSR (SR; increased MTOW) Passenger PW JT9D-7A
GE CF6-45A2
None 1978
747-100BSR SUD (stretched upper deck) Passenger PW JT9D-7A None 1986
747-400D (domestic) Passenger GE CF6-80C2 None 1991

would love to see the -400D at NGO but I know that’s never going to happen

That would require the 744RR.

Which is a model, if added, will also see Cathay, Qantas and SAA get an additional variation.

I was looking at klm active and previous planes then i got for b747 the types: 400, 400f, 400m, 300m, 200,200f,200m where all the M variants are missing in @Charlie his list

Combi variants (M) will not be included as the appropriate stands for these aircrafts are not available in game
