I’m a new player. My name in Game is Celsius 68. Begun Today. I’m level 12 at INN. Free to play, not planning to spend real money in game.
What can I do to make the best out of the game? How does it work for alliances and relationships with real player? I don’t have real-life friends playing WoA. Can you give me advice? And please, can you explain me anything about my personal fleet? What about receiving planes from other players ? I keep reading about it but still I don’t get it. Thank you to anyone who will share suggestions. Celsius 68
Welcome to this wonderful game!
Maybe this will help you:
The screenshots are still from before 3.0, but the game physics doesn’t changed.
Whether you like it or not, you’re going to have to use real money. I also thought I wouldn’t invest any money, but in the end I used some real money and now I have all the airports unlocked.
Ok, but how much are we talking about and spent how? What did you buy and you used it?
Plus, is it worth to have other players send their planes? How to do so, if I don’t know anyone?
A piece of advice..which is the best airport to boost growth?
Do you think it’s better many B contracts or few C contracts?
I don’t agree with you on that at all. I haven’t spent a dime yet and have all airports unlocked, a 40-strong fleet of multiple ac types, a couple of airports at max level and some premium passes. And I haven’t even been truly grinding the game like other players.
How did you do? Which advice can you give me? Thank you!
Player contracts are worth it both ways. Unlike airline contracts, where you have to go through all the reward tiers before you get the highest ones, player contracts give you the highest XP and SP rewards from the beginning. Fleet planes are even better because if you send them to faraway destinations you get much more wollars than you would from airline or other players’ connections to the same destination. But that actually goes against what I’ve been doing my beginning stages, where I had almost no player connections because I didn’t know anyone who played WoA, just like you, but now that I actually joined this forum and created an alliance, my earnings and progress have spiked up, so I recommend you to make as many player connections as you can. Joining an alliance is ideal to do this as you get an assurance of reliability.
If you want you can join our alliance International Wings Group, we are accepting right now for INN
Obviously IAD, because it has 4 runways for quick delivery, but it’s expensive both to unlock and to maintain (buy the necessary stands, equipment etc.).
LHR has a lot of large stands, which help with quicker gains. I like having as many large plane contracts as possible, simply because of the higher rewards, but some other players disagree with me on that because of longer handling times and higher handling crew requirements (it depends on the airport is what I’m saying)
BKK is a great all-rounder, sitting sort of in between the two, with it mostly being great for all purposes.
Also SCL makes for pretty fast progress because of really quick taxi times when landing, so that’s worth considering as well
I would say all contracts until you run out of contract space. Then you should start switching to bigger planes
This game is quite generous when it comes to being free to play. I’ve only ever made 1 purchase back in 1.0 and haven’t paid since then and have unlocked every airport with 200+ planes.
My biggest tip is player contacts, they are good because they start at level 10 which means you get significant amounts of Xp and Sp (silver planes). To get these id suggest making a post on the forum giving your name (Celsius 68) and asking for planes to INN.
Alternatively you could join an alliance and get contracts through people in them. Each alliance has different benefits and systems. Alliances - World of Airports forum When people send these planes it will appear in the contracts tap where you can accept them. The player contracts are real time and will only come if the player on the other end handles them at their airport.
Once you have enough Sp you can convert it to Gp (golden planes). Using this you can unlock a new airport. My suggestions are IAD, LHR, or BKK. These airports are the largest and generate the most SP.
Alternatively you can buy planes using the GP. Once you pay for a plane with GP it gives you the ‘rights’ to buy it with wollars. These fleet planes can be sent to other player or non player airports. If you send it to a player airport you have the option to send it to a random player (acts likes a non player contract) or someone you know (by putting in their ID) which will start a player contract with your own plane. The main benefit of your own fleet is that it gives much more wollars (sometimes around 5x) making them better than AI contracts.
I hope I explained this well but if you have any questions I will answer them
Thank you, sent!
Thank you! Lot to process, but it will be clearer once I get use I think. Where can I create a post to ask for people to send to my airport? Thank you
In our alliance and some other ones as well, you get an airport to manage for the alliance, where other alliance members will send you some of their planes to. There is another system, which for example Flexi or AWA (I think) use another system where you don’t have an assigned airport and contracts are being announced and it is sent to the first one to want that plane (to any airport that person wants it at). Usually, alliances have a group chat, either on Discord or the forum itself (like us), where you can communicate with other alliance members about your connections, which you wouldn’t be able to do with random players.
You go here:
and create a new topic
But you might not need it if you’re in an alliance
Also, please turn on the chat function, I need to add you to the group chat here.
How to do so? I sent my request on google sh
If you have discord, you will find contracts much faster and more consistently then on the forum. Aside from that, the wiki answers a lot of questions there, in particular about player stuff
I feel like this post is the “Beginner guide”.. I would give nearly identical advice. You don’t need to spend real money if you’re willing to take your time, and if you get enough SP to generate 10 GP a week and the 1 GP per day (player contracts!), you will quickly get enough to be able to unlock other larger airports, enabling generation of more SP and getting you a proper fleet.
Ciao! Best way to get those 10k SP rolling?
