Purpose or Role in Game
The C402 is a small passenger and charter regional jet. It has been used extensively on the east coast of the United States and in the Caribbean. It also has versatility in being used by many armed forces and government bodies. Further it would add variety to the small aircraft fleets as there is only one A aircraft in game.
Why should this aircraft be added?
What does it add to the game in terms of gameplay variety, realism, or strategy?
While I think this, among many other GA aircraft, would have to be added with GA and private aviation, I still would love to see some of these larger Cessna piston/turbine aircraft in game before GA, because some carriers do use them. Things like the C208, C404, C408, C421, C441, etc, could all be added I believe. Good suggestion
To clarify (because you’ve made a similar comment in the CGK thread), this is category for suggestions, meaning what players would like to see in the game. Not everything (by far) posted here will get added to the game, it’s just an indication for the developers of what the community is interested in seeing. Just because there’s a post here for an aircraft/an aiport/a livery it doesn’t mean it’s actually in development.
