I hope you’re all doing well. Wanted to let you know, after the contracts with your planes to my NGO are done will not renew any them (will still continue to play at NGO and end those contracts though)

Sorry if you were planning for something a little bit more longer term. Like you might have read when I made the post, I wanted connections to play through the levels at NGO, but I am not having fun at all there​. Sticking with only ZRH and HKG for the moment and playing the rest of the Airports solo when I feel like it.

A short message to everyone with open contract or extension requests — and also to anyone considering sending contracts to my ZRH:

At ZRH I’m currently trying to balance player contracts with realistic operations, with a strong focus on real-life routes and frequencies. Because of that, my slot capacity has been at its limit pretty much since day one.

I’ve been buying as many new slots as possible with both SPs and GPs, but I’m still not quite able to accept all incoming contract requests immediately. Every day after buying new slots and accepting player requests, I usually fill the remaining free slots with real-life contracts to keep the operation as authentic as possible.

So please don’t worry if I don’t accept your request right away. In most cases, I should have available contract slots again by the next day at the latest.

This is also the reason why I’m keeping my own fleet size at ZRH fairly moderate for now.

It will probably take another week or so until I have enough slots to get a bit more breathing room and allow faster growth of my player network alongside the realistic operations.

Short Update:

1. I decided to divide both of my open Hubs in 2 separate threads. This one will remain the thread for my main Hub (ZRH).
2. I finally completed my network with all real life contracts (ZRH) and finally started to grow on contract capacity for player connections. Now around 20 slots available.

Hi guys!

It’s been a while since my last update on ZRH here on the forum.

1. Available Aircraft at my ZRH:

• 2 x A320 (Available for: LHR, BRI, PRG or MCT)

• 3 x A20N (Available for: LHR, BRI or MCT)

• 1 x A321 (Available for: LHR only)

Please note: I normally cap my connections with players at max. 1 aircraft per player per airport, but if we have already had some steady connections, I could increase that cap for Cat. C up to 2-3 planes per player per airport.

2. Open for connections at ZRH:

As a ZRH planespotter and local, as well as with my IGN “Zurich Airways”, I plan to play ZRH for as long as I play the game. I play daily (on weekdays).

Whether you’re searching for a short-term, fast-turnaround connection to “level” your airports, or you’re searching for a stable partner for your long-term contracts, “Zurich Airways” is the way to go

3. Other Hubs

My HKG has been open for quite some time as a secondary hub. From there, I can send support connections, send planes to airports I can’t reach from ZRH (like SYD and ZRH), and handle all the planes you send me there as well. I am active there 2 to 3 times a week. If you’re interested but still not connected with my HKG, you can either write a message directly in the Zurich Airways Connections | @HKG | Sending & Receiving [ACTIVE] thread or send me a private message/DM.

4. Other things I’ve been working on:

1. As some of you may have read, I’m very excited and proud of the alliance we’ve started: (Omega Sky Group [OSG]). The Omega Sky Group [OSG] is a Discord community centered around our World of Airports alliance. The server is invite-only, but it is not exclusively reserved for OSG alliance members. Players who are not currently part of an alliance, as well as members of other alliances, are welcome to join the server as guests (selected guests).
   At the moment, OSG has 8 alliance members and 12 guests on the server. - Even though we cannot promise an invite, if you’re interested in joining, either as an alliance member or guest, let me or any of the admins/mods know (via private message!).

2. I play mainly with realistic, real-life routes. As part of that playing style, I enjoy working in my spare time with the rest of the wiki team to update the Realistic Flight Routes Database.

Hi, thank you for your interest. As you can see in my fleet overview at the top, I currently don’t have any long-haul aircraft available—only short-haul aircraft.

Zurich Airways is currently going through a bit of restructuring, and there are no plans to purchase any additional long-haul aircraft at the moment.

If and when I buy more long-haul aircraft, I can keep you in mind, although I can’t promise anything.
