EZY / A320 - easyJet (2015 Failed Potential New Livery livery)

:artist_palette: Livery Details
A different livery that could’ve been the main one, for EZY’s A320-200

At INN,

And ofc being me, at MAN,

Old and test,

:pushpin: Why should this livery be added?
This was a test livery applied to G-EZUA alongside a test livery of the current one when easyJet was deciding upon a new livery for their fleet in late 2014. This one fell through but the aircraft continued wearing this livery until December 2018 when it was repainted and continues to fly with the airline to this day.

Even though it was only painted onto one aircraft, it would be ace to have it as a regular livery as a sort of ‘What if?’ for European airports, plus it would make for some cracking photo opportunities for me , one of my favourite pastimes.

Can confirm, flew on it down to JER from LPL the other Summer.

I remember seeing this livery at MAN once, it really was an odd one, but somehow still looks considerably better than the dreadful looking livery on UZHL…

No idea why they did the mask of zorro with that one, bloody awful looking thing. I really do like the tail on EZUA above but the fuselage text just looks sad and like a leased aircraft. Do think a combined one with the tail and the current fuselage would’ve looked good.

The tail text on this one is abysmal

UZHL doesn’t look any worse than their current livery imo, although it’s a low bar.

I don’t know, UZHL just looks really off. Maybe it’s because I’m used to the current one and it’s a bit uncanny and makes you double take but I really dislike it.

I really like the tail text on EZUA though, I think it suits the brand at the time. I think easyJet has tried to upmarket itself a little nowadays though so the current livery is perfect for that.
