Game UI - Possible features/updates

so, when you buy a333 its 22GP, if you want the a333RR is another 22GP. i think devs should make (just for an example) the A333 5 or 10GP more expensive, but, changing engines would only be 1 to 3 GP (whatever devs decide) and maybe doing this with other plane variants. it think it would be better for us

The landsides currently look a little dead, so something they could add is landside traffic, like cars randomly spawning and spawning on the departures/arrivals lane, or nearby highways for airports like SAN and IAD. For bigger airports, the spawning timer would need to be a bit faster for realism purposes. But when it comes to highways, the M25 at LHR deserves to be mentioned separately and anyone whos ever been there knows what I mean. We actually do see some vehicles on the airside roads, but the way they make turns concerns me a bit. Especially U-turns… So it would be nice if that was also smoothened out.

An idea for (if they ever do a more realistic day process specifically) pausing the handling of aircraft I.e. for overnight flights or long stay on the ground flights during the day by putting an option to stop the handling after deplaning and before catering and cleaning etc. The only catch is you can only pause it once. Once you take away the pause, you can’t request it again. Or it could be a switch to activate like with mini games and the plane is left closed and disconnected from the jetbridge/stairs.

While on the subject of handling, I do think should re evaluate handling times, I.e. 30secs for fueling is a bit too quick, or even 2mins for a L or X plane as fueling is there for almost 1/3 of the planes time on the ground IRL.

It might be nice, but I wish the developers would focus on building and repairing airports. Not to any distant details :sunglasses:

I think it would be useful to add a similar button to renew contracts between players the same way you renew contracts to non-player destinations.

When a player contract ends, it would show the usual “collect rewards button”, and then it would offer you to “renew this contract” or “cancel”. This would automatically send the contract as a new request to the same player and airport it was previously assigned to.

When an AI contract reaches 10 we have the option to automatically renew the contract, it will be nice to have the same option on player contracts.

Since the A320/321 remodel is coming
It seems that the A319 isn’t planned since there’s already a v2 (I could be wrong)
Maybe the current A19N model that doesn’t really look like a NEO can be changed to a A319SL and maybe add liveries on it like American, Avianca, Spirit etc.

First of all, huge thank you to the Devs for the great airport LHR!

As i am a reallylife ATCO here are a few suggestions that could help improve the Airport.

Make use of speedexits and let Aircraft decrease Speed into those as they do in reallife to vecate the rwy faster and have a faster Approach flow on rwys.

Also in reallife as soon as an acft starts its turn into an exit you could clear an acft to land and that acft could already be above or shortly before the threshold. Currently the planes are in the middle if not the end of an exit intersection when you are finally able to clear the next acft to land decreasing runway efficiency severely.

Maybe increase turnover times at Gates by 10 - 20% to help filling the Airport a little more and have more traffic on gnd making the Airport feel more ‚busy‘?

Give us the ability to assign a reasonable exit to the acft if you want it to vecate the rwy later due to taxishortening because of a stand in the far end and almost maintain Speed until that exit?

I also noticed (although i know work on this Airport continues) that maybe you could improve the grpundmarkings an stuff as in comparison to other Airports in the Game they Are not quite theire yet!

It would be cool to have the ablity to create fictnal airports and contracts(sorry for bad english) from real airlines im not begging :japanese_goblin:

As an actual ATCO as well, I asked regarding the ground time to be slightly altered but they seem to be stuck on their opinion that it’s fine so I think we should keep our hopes up.
I do agree some airports are very empty if handled on a regular rate

Hello All,

As MAF said great work on the LHR airport.

I 100% agree with the HS exits. They need to be improved dramatically for any chance of making LHR enjoyable at a higher level.

To add on some things here I find little use for the tower or little improvement on what it actually does.

Approach - Great works like a charm, I don’t see any improvement on the secondary benefit of speeding landings up.
Departure - I don’t really care for, the game doesn’t really push departures so again most people close the game and re-open it. I also don’t mind manually doing departures.
Delivery - I don’t really again find much use for it, I manually assign gates based on real ops for LHR.
Ground - Again same thing, I really couldn’t care much for.

What I would like to see is an option for auto assigning workers to gates without me having to add and confirm how many workers I want cause that does get a bit annoying.

Overall I think some tweaks to how flow of operations work and maybe the above suggestion I would be a happy player but it’s if everyone else want’s that aswell and if the devs want to implement it.

I often favourite planes from my fleet and connections or some fav planes. I think it should good function if planes land on priority while on tower mode

Sometimes is really annoying when you want your (X,L) planes appear you can put a filter with many options:

-By airplane size (ascending-descendant): S,M,L,X
-By player-non player arrivals
-By destination distance (asc, des)
-By handling numbers (asc, des)
-By completed handling / total handling contracts (asc, des)

More perspectives from passengers

I would like to see the ability to assign stand areas to specific aircraft categories. This affects states that have been unlocked for multiple airplane categories (s/m/l/x).

Background: at the beginning of an opened airport, you don’t yet know the taxiways that airplanes use. It may be that you later realize that a different stand would be more suitable for a certain category.

Why do you think it doesn’t look like the NEO?

That’s what I do, put the airlines at the correct terminals, though do have to check again which gate the airline goes At especially if it’s anew contract.

If you look closely, the engines are the same size as on on the A319ceo.

An idea to archive certain contracts that you don’t wanna let fly for whatever reason instead of cancelling them and having to buy them again

Park your surplus contract planes at a non-active airport of a connection.
