Stand costs and terminal unlock costs
Summary
Stand costs:
A - 2,000
B - 4,000
C - 6,000
D - 8,000
E - 10,000
F - 12,000
G - 14,000
Stands can be purchased in increments starting with the lowest category available 1 at a time or you can buy multiple levels at once. So if the stand is D,E,F you could buy each category in turn or buy D and E together or D, E and F together, ultimately it’s the same price to buy all 3 whichever way you decide to do it.
Terminal unlock cost map hopefully coming soon.
Additional Terminal Unlock costs, no stands:
1A : 30,000
2A : 30,000
2B : 25,000
3B : 50,000
3C : 30,000
3D : 30,000
Cargo: 35,000
3C and 3D are considered extensions of 3B so have to be purchased after 3B
Number of stands, total available to purchase: (176)

43 cargo,
not all can be used at the same time as many small stands are blocked if the large ones are used or vice versa and some are combo meaning they can be used for either cargo or passenger but not at the same time.
Initial Terminal: 21 stands (all passenger)
Terminal 1A : 20 stands (9 cargo only and 11 combo)
Terminal 2A : 18 stands (all passenger)
Terminal 2B : 14 stands (all passenger)
Terminal 3B : 33 stands (all passenger)
Terminal 3C : 18 stands (all passenger)
Terminal 3D : 18 stands (all passenger)

Limitations
Summary
GRU has very good stands, but cannot come close to filling them due to having only one landing runway. It also has minor delays that come from the landing rway being the outer one, so arriving aircraft need to wait for departures to clear.
Recommended strategies:
Summary
@Thatflyerguy suggests: GRU has a boatload of very close D freighters (767s from LATAM, local) which give a LOT of XP and return quickly. I would get those fast.
Other information
GRU is the first South American airport in the game, and will unlock the next airport to be added, once it is introduced.
