HKG - Hong Kong 🇭🇰

I’m pretty sure that is right, so it would be like shared stands essentially.

Except with only one stand, so wide bodies can be accommodated?

Probably there is enough space for B764 or MD11 on the right but I don’t think this stand is intended for that way.

is HKG more of a cargo hub like LEJ, or is it more PAX like IAD<BKK<LHR<MCT

on a side note. where does this underground road go? I cant find it XD

I feel it is rather balanced. It was the largest cargo airport last year in terms of cargo tonnage.

I didn’t either. Is that going to another side of the runway or to somwhere at T1 midfield?

My understanding is that it is more pax oriented, but also has a cargo apron maybe 1/2 the size of LEJ’s DHL apron? I’m probably wrong

Yeah I was honestly so confused when I was looking at them from satellite view in Google Maps. First thought was that they are for smaller planes, but shouldn’t then there be one on the other side as well (The MARS gates that can be found in GRU and SCL with the capacity to handle one D/E/F plane and two A/B/C planes).

And probably also here…

Without a doubt! Good catch.
I didn’t spot it as the map I used is apparently less recent.

You can see from the image Royston posted above (No idea how to quote lol), the roundabout goes both up and down with the road appearing between X451 and L421 at the top. It’s like those Norwegian roads with the underground roundabouts

Does anyone know the stand allocation for HKG(possibly including the new terminal)

There’s a guide a bit further up that I’ve done (I didn’t do the guide, just the post lol),

Has a layout of the stands, I believe it’s on point for realism. Not got the new terminal on it though.
