Why should this airline be added?
Meridiana merged their operations with the original Air Italy to create this airline. Sadly it didn’t survive 2020 due to the pandemic.

Following the merger with Meridiana with Air Italy with the focus of the company was to introduce a stable new Italian airline which could become the flagship carrier of Italy, which unfortunately ceased operations in 2020 after its shareholders decided the airline could no longer sustain its operations.

One of the B737-800 registered, EI-IRI, comes in the Eastern Air Lines livery colors after the aircraft was delivered to Eastern Air Lines in 2016, then the following year to Meridiana and in 2018 to Air Italy
This aircraft registered, EI-FNW, Norwegian Air Shuttle retired the aircraft from their fleet in 2016, stripping the paint and in an all-white livery, was later leased to Meridiana in 2016 and with Air Italy in 2018
