Model Aircraft (Sharepoint)

Yes I think so, Patriot seems to be a good brand developing, especially with their new 1:400 AN-12 mould (hopefully Cavok is made :folded_hands:)

I haven’t got any Patriot models but they do seem to be promising, and very high quality. Aeropolaris is a brand I’ve got some models from and they also have a lot of potential, especially when it comes to European short haul.

I’m hoping Panda use their 767s more, the Condor one I’ve got is simply fantastic, seeing some other untouched 767 liveries like Thomas Cook or First Choice would be great on that mould.

It’s been a good while since I actually shared anything here now, so considering my Iberia MD-88 has arrived (I wonder if @Hirohitoswaifu has theirs ) I thought I’d share a bit of the airport as it is at the moment, being slightly backdated.

Start off with the new arrival.

Now for some of the stuff that is currently being used on the airport:

The Mad Dog looks mean. I love it. Mine turned up today though due to being out a lot sent it to my ma so I have to fetch it from her. The colours look fantastic. Where’d you get your Jet2 stairs from?

It’s a brilliant model, something I’d never considered but really glad I got now. The Jet2 stairs I got off eBay ages ago, all I know is they are 3D printed and I have 4 of them, I remember the same person selling some TUI ones as well but haven’t seen them since as I’d love to get more of them. Looks like I might need to get some of those regional aircraft stairs off Avgeek models now, don’t think my normal ones will be of much use on that MD-88.

I like the TUI 757,

can i ask but where did you get the TUI 757 & why did you get it?

I’ve had it since it was released, can’t remember where from though. Probably Aircraft Model Store. They were still in service back then and I was modelling a British airport. Now I’m modelling an airport in the Canary Islands with plans of another British one, plus since I got back into collecting some backdated models I’ve kept it. I got a Thomsonfly 757 to pair with it a while back as well when it spent a good amount of time sat on a shelf not being used.

In theory it was the model that convinced me to give backdated airport scenes a second chance as I could never bring myself to part ways with it when I sold off a lot of older models a few years back. I have managed to get a lot of models I regretted getting rid of back, such as the Jet2 A330 and Thomas Cook 757. I’m hoping at some point a lot of these in demand models will get another release, so I can have multiple of them, the TUI 757 being one of them. NG have aproved some excellent European models (such as a Thomas Cook 757-300 and a suggestion I made for the Condor Wir Lieben Fliegen 757-300), but it’s just down to seeing how long it’ll be before we get models like that again.

Well was looking on eBay for some decent stuff I could add to my 3 gate Scottish airport, and found a few good stuff from gse400_models shown above, so can get some vans, and if Gemini ever release the Loganair ATRs in 400 scale… get some vans with their logo on, also @ukplanespotter757 he’s also selling a Thomas cook 330, not sure if you’d be interested

DAMN are those vans actually 1/400? those are clean
might be worth getting tbh

What I thought, looks great, he seems to do only European airlines, but BA, VA, Aer Lingus, DHL and FedEx could work for an American airport

Never been overly interested in getting that version of the Thomas Cook A330 as I’ve already got a pair of them (here’s hoping someone will make the Thomas Cook Scandinavia A330-300 at some point). It might be a consideration for the future though, I only ordered the new Aeropolaris TUIfly 737 last night.

Thought you already had an Aeropolaris TUI 737? Did they release another?

Yeah, the Gold Haribo livery.

Got a few of my models set out with the brand new Iberia MD-88. What a fantastic little model it is.

Added a couple more. Map isn’t big enough for the mass of big aircraft I have.
