Yeah that be why as airports I’m doing was São Paulo and now I’m doing SCL. I do have CNN but don’t think you can get it there? When you should from Hungary.

The Aeroflot Group has announced the completion of its first in-house overhaul of a Western-built engine, with the repair of three CFM56-5B turbofans from its A320 fleet. The FAA has proposed requiring US-registered Boeing 737NG operators to inspect the horizontal stabiliser components of all their aircraft of the type, following multiple reports of pitch oscillations caused by excessive free play that could lead to flutter events.

Delta will add 30 new Boeing 787 Dreamliner widebody aircraft. The 787 will be a new fleet type for Delta and complements a previous order for 100 Boeing 737-10 MAX aircraft. Delta has selected GE Aerospace’s GEnx engines to power the aircraft and has entered into an agreement with GE Aerospace to service these engines.

What benefits has Boeing provided them I wonder. I thought they had a rather large falling out over the whole BCS order so I’m quite surprised to see them ordering Boeing widebody’s, though I suppose something has to replace the 767’s.

The 788 has a similar seat layout to the 763/4 so the -10 seems a bit overboard, even AAL didn’t pickup the -10 because it sits in the 777 region. Seems like a really odd choice, the 359 replaced the 772 and as you say, the A330s can pickup the slack from the 767s, though again they’re a bit large. Just seems like they’re getting an aircraft type incompatible with their current fleet and which fits into a spot already taken. Odd.

I’m pretty sure they ordered the 788 in the past but canceled it. But the 78X can be good to replace maybe the 764.
