Does Air Transat do year round flights? If so it’ll be bad for them.

Yes they do, they fly to tropical places in winter then they do the same in summer and fly to other places in Canada. I think that’s how they work

Still have B777s, might be going on one next year to Vancouver.

Yes they fly the A321LR one due in Sunday morning.

I was saying by around 2030 they won’t have them because of age and more fuel efficient planes like the 787-9

300 maybe but I think by the time the -10 comes along they would have retired the remaining 200s

I think it’s the other way around, they 200s get replaced, then the 300er

Maybe not the LRs but they still have 300ERs.

Reckon AC may order B777-9 as Dreamliners won’t have over 400 seats like the B777-300ER.

Sorry that this is in German, but Eurowings will have B737-800 from 2027 and will give their fleet more efficiency and will fly to routes like Palma, Barcelona, and other traveling destinations

737 Max 8 btw, the -800 is an NG, older Variant.

Oh sorry, my fault

But interesting to see, how a completely Airbus Airline buys some Max 8 planes! I think they had before some wet-lease 737s

Yeah they have leased some previously. Not too weird, good for Boeing, Vueling getting 200 Max 8s I believe to go all Boeing, Allegiant getting some, now Eurowings.

Vueling?! :exploding_head:

Or B737-8.

Max is more recognisable, 737-8 is like the 738 which is the -800.

Woah I did not know about the Vuelings. Is that the Covid-era IAG order from Walsh, or new?

IAG did order them, (being Willie Walsh) but we weren’t sure what airline in the group they were going to be sent too till recently!

But i am wrong it’s not 200 but rather 50.

No the B737-8 is not 800 it’s Max not NG, it is what it is now since the two crashes, even Boeing calls them that. Max is the family name.
