But IAG did do an order for 200 B737-8 back in 2019 then it went quiet. International Airlines Group Announces Intent to Buy 200 Boeing 737 MAX Airplanes - Jun 18, 2019
The 737-800 is the 738. The 737 MAX 8, ICAO B38M, was rebranded officially to the 737-8 or alternately the 737-8 MAX after the crashes. Boeing now refers to it by all three of those names interchangeably.
You look at those that have it in Europe they have B737-8 the Max part was dropped.
Similar how their no B777X aircraft that’s just the family aircraft.
No I meant it sounds like the -800
Yeah it’s ambiguous, but I think that’s exactly what Boeing wanted. They needed a way to drop the max identifier but not harm the NGs reputation
Just minus 00,
You look at the B787 they never did them as B787-800 or B787-900 same with B777X family.

Hey, at least it’s getting use lol. Not like Ciudad Real in Spain.
Looking a whole lot better than the 100 years livery. They should’ve used this as a base!
I dunno, I love the modern look. There’ll always be two groups, one that likes retro and one that likes contemporary, and at least they are making liveries for both.
Honestly i like pretty much all special liverys, i like a bit of variety!
Why did you delete the post?
