Wow. I’m surprised someone made it that far inside the security perimeter with no one noticing. But as John Denver famously sang… :musical_notes: Rocky Mountain High Colorado :musical_notes:

The MD-11 fits a unique spot in Fed Ex’s fleet between the 767 and 777. 747 is out of the question at this point considering the production lines have been shut for a few years now and unlike UPS who had the capacity to replace the MD-11 in its role, Fed Ex didn’t.

Fed Ex also has a slightly younger fleet and one which has and had undergone a lot more maintenance than UPS’s one including I believe the wing engine mountings being replaced, don’t quote me on that though, so their fleet is a lot better and can go on several years. It’s one of the reasons it’s doubtful they’d retire them.

I’m just curious as to whether Western Global will follow Fed Ex or if they’ll replace theirs. Plus the DC 10 freighter in Bolivia, I’m not sure if that’s coming back into service again.

:red_circle: The world’s first ATR 72-600 featuring the ATR Aircraft HighLine “All-Business Class” configuration touched down in Kuala Lumpur, marking a major milestone for regional aviation. ATR’s new cabin concept received certification from both EASA and the Malaysian authorities earlier this month, confirming its readiness for commercial operations worldwide. The delivery represents a dual first for Berjaya Air; the airline’s inaugural ATR 72-600 and the launch platform for ATR’s new premium cabin collection.
