Well we are going back to 30th October 2023 when I land at Barcelona main airport. The last few pictures was the aircraft that I was on.
Whelp, while still not 100% verified as Boeing and Spirit Aerosystems won’t comment on stuff still under investigation, it appears the Alaska Airlines door plug that blew off was removed and re-installed by the mechanics at Boeing’s Renton assembly plant… also read another article with Alaska’s CEO stating “many” loose bolts were found on the grounded Max 9s. In other news, one of a Delta 757’s nose gear wheels fell off and rolled away while it was lined up for takeoff lol. But that’s probably a Delta maintenance issue being it’s a nearly 35 year old plane.
Some aircraft after my flight from Dalaman at Dublin before I head home
What to see all of my aviation photos? Good news I got a Jet Photos account and will upload pictures there soon
Well guys we are going back to the end of June 2018 I popped in at the aviation viewing centre at Manchester airport to see mainly G-BOAC as well as seeing cars as at the time there was a car show.
Before you comment I need to go over a few things
-
I was there mainly to Focus on G-BOAC and other aircraft that was preserved there
-
I was staying in Manchester for about 4 days until I flew home
-
There was car show while I was there so I also focus on cars there in fact that car picture I have you can clearly see the airport fence
-
I don’t know all the aircraft there but I know there was lots of Ryanair, easyJet, Flybe, Thomas Cook, Jet2 and TUI aircraft
-
I don’t remember the registration of all the aircraft as I don’t focus on aircraft registration until Mid 2019
-
My picture skills are pretty poor at the time compared to now
-
This was taken before the new terminal was built around the area
Ah you went when the yearly TAS show that was going on. In fact I went the 2018 one myself on Saturday the 30th. Good for getting some extremely cheap models from the stalls there, can pick up some rare stuff as well. Also nice to see a Crewe station sign has made it onto the forum
Where was that show? It looks like it has a really nice selection of cars, that cobra also looks nice
OH wait, I just read the full post
Heck believe me or not I was even there on the 30th but that was in the morning until 11:00 AM and just to keep it in mind I arrived on the 28 of june and left the 1st of July
Yeah I went early on the Saturday to try and get stuff before the crowds came in, haven’t been one of the shows since then and from what I’ve heard they aren’t as good as they once were, but can’t really say anything there as I need to go one again
The cars were between the main mounds around here, but they’ve since built the (in my opinion) useless VIP terminal in its place
Did the car show here Keep going after the terminal was built or was it since discontinued?
I’m not too sure, I think it might have done as they still have some space for a smaller show. The stalls still go on and other smaller events
Well we are going back to 1 July 2018 I boarded this Ryanair 737-800 heading home in Dublin. This is the shortest flight I ever took taking about 30 Minutes and in fact this flight doesn’t have Catering at all.
Also you can clearly see the old seats on the aircraft
No catering? I’ve flown ryanair between MAN and DUB a few times and got hot food on 2 of those flights, with the normal drink and snack runs on the rest. They use to take any hot food orders on the ground before departure so they could start heating up anything people ordered straight after takeoff
Yea I wondering the same but there could be a few reasons 1. I was on the last flight of the day. 2. That aircraft could have also made the last flight of the day or 3. No one order as I they did give out menus but saw no carts
Last flight of the day or not, there isn’t really anyway they could have ran out of everything. I’ve used the really late flights back from DUB and they always come round with the trolley, for example when I returned last January, they still sold sandwiches and all the drinks on a MAN based MAX on its last flight of the day.
Especially strange for Ryanair who want to claw every penny they can from their passengers in as little time as possible
I take some pretty short hops on American CRJ9s and E170/E175s from KDFW to KSHV, and we begin descending just a couple minutes after we reach cruise. It’s like 45 mins, but sometimes closer to 30 mins if going W-E with some tailwinds. Due to that they have no snack or food service for those flights.
But that was a Crj900 and the one I mentioned was a 737-800 and you also mentioned that you flew on a premium airline not a low cost airline
