Airline Name
Transafrican Air
IATA: TA / ICAO: TAK / Callsign: TRANSAFRICAN
Country of Origin
Kenya
Aircraft Types Used (from those available in WoA)
B732C (737-200C Adv) (2 operated, 1 fully cargo only),Pictured above at BOM,
Sadly the above aircraft was destroyed on the ground in Sudan in 2025 due to the Civil War. Was ex-Icaro Air.
ATP (BAe ATP) (4 operated, all white with no colours),
Why should this airline be added?
An airline founded in 2011 and operating until very recently, only stopping due to the withdrawal of mechanical support from BAe for their ATPβs, they flew humanitarian aid into South Sudan, Sudan and Somalia throughout much of the 2010s and into the 2020s up until October 2025. The 737-200βs were used partly for this purpose but also partly just as cargo freighters, flying regionally in and out of Nairobi.A really cool livery and an airline that has a fab history, plus another livery for the cargo 737-200 Adv.
