:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
Virgin Sun was a British charter airline founded in 1999, that focused its destinations on the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands. It had a style never before done of conducting a ‘fun’ meal service, with meals being different depending on the time of day and if you were going or returning from the UK, plus they provided a cocktail when you go on board as well as offering a desert service. The airline flew from London Gatwick and Manchester for the 2 years it was in operation but sadly it didn’t hit the required targets for profit and the project was canned by Virgin group in late 2001. It could make for either a good event livery due to the bright yellow paint they used or, my personal preference, a fab regular airline for MAN and LGW to players European airports.

Definitely, though have to be Heathrow as we don’t have Gatwick  Though hopefully Manchester gets added one day.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be at LHR, I’d love it if it was though . Would be perfect for a future holiday generic airport say in Spain. Though ofc if we get MAN it would be perfect lol

Well as we only got Heathrow as only UK airport at moment it be good from there, as well other European airports apart from Leipzig.

Not from, for Bari from LGW and MAN.

That is certainly one of the most… interesting… liveries I think I’ve ever seen :sob:

It’s like Spirit with a touch of clown car

All jokes aside this would be a fun one

I like that description . It was actually a really cool airline, typical Branson fashion of going above and beyond for the sake of a good time but sadly it didn’t take off. Think it would definitely work now but he’s got his mind set on the West Coast Mainline again lol.

Channel Tunnel, but that’s not like til 2030, To think when Virgin Sun their was so many leisure airlines about, Airtours, Air 2000, Britannia, JMC etc and today their only two Jet2 and TUi.

So many colourful liveries cast into history. And we are left with bits amongst the eurowhite rubbish. And yeah, forgot he wants to compete with Eurostar. I know he wants to compete with Avanti too on the Glasgow route and North Wales like he used to.
