With a bit of planning that can be avoided. You can buy 365 daily Gold Planes and 520 weekly every year with Silver Planes.
Gold Planes can be converted in Wollars at every airport …
I currently have 2600 GP’s and over a million SP’s ready for the next airport to drop.

with GP I prefer to buy 1. unlock planes, 2. premium passes, 3. liveries and at least 4. handlers.
For example in LEJ i bougt 60 handlers … now my LEJ is playable like MCT. Everybody has another strategy, but it is interesting to get to know a different side of everyone.

At the start of a new airport I directly open a big bunch of gates and stands to have enough contracts and crew to get off the ground ( 
) immediately. Premium Pass is a given also. And airplanes for player contracts.
Someone gave me advice on just buying every stand that has an A class so you can have more handlers and contracts at the start so you dont have to wait. (For those who arent wealthy like you) lol

I do the same , but some airports are a disaster. LEJ is best example in the game for poor performance. For playing beautiful it is nice, but if you like to serve a lot playercontracts, I did it after opening HKG, you need time, very much time. So I solved the problem as I told. And i could buy much more, I could use a lot more handlers especially now with A346F. But now I am waiting and hopening for remodel LEJ with a lot of shared stands!!
I join you in the LEJ remodel wait! This is my current mothballed situation.

I’m only saying this after all the criticism and dissatisfaction that arose when CNN’s generic airport was launched. I don’t think any more generic airports will be released, because the wave of criticism and insults I saw when that airport was released from so many players means I don’t think we’ll see a new airport.A generic airport is on the horizon; the criticism and discontent were overwhelming, so I’m fairly certain we won’t see generic airports for a long time.
Well we dont know that for sure so we cant be too certain about it…

And did devs add two airports or three last year?
We got 1. ZRH - new airport 2. INN - remodel 3. PRG - remodel 4. ???

So I assume that “4” will be an upcoming airport, we got some hints on where it could possibly be. If we get a new airport this year, it will probably be in the version 3.8, very close to the end of the year, but that’s just my assumption

. I mistakenly counted Kannur as being added this year because, for some reason, it appears at the bottom of the menu list—even though other airports were added after it.
So, it turns out only a second airport is being added this year, not counting the two reworks.
I only started downloading the game when São Paulo was the most recently added airport, so I don’t actually know which year it was introduced.
Is adding 2–3 airports a year the standard routine for this game all 7 years?
Well if the current pattern continues like this, we get 2 airports, 2 remodels in the future, tbh idk what the normal routine is, I didn’t play WoA for a long time until i joined back in dec 2025
Hey, in Dev Blog #25 - World of Airports / Development - Flyboys.Games forum they mentioned that we can accept for 2025 at least 4 new airports.
This rhythm was continued also this year; roughly at the end of each quarter, there was a major update featuring a new airport. With the beginning of remodeling the airports, Devs announced, that the effort to deliver remodeld airports in that quality, like INN and PRG now is, is so high, as if they had developed a new one.
So yes maybe it will be as Capouh wrote here, 2 new and 2 remodeld each year. About the 4. airport for this year, we have no informations at the moment.
